The AAA-quality chrysocolla donuts are ground according to the rough material; therefore the diameter can be between approx. 3.8 to 4.2 cm.
The cutting roough material Chrysocolla comes from Mexico; before the stones were cut, they were stabilized.
Chrysocolla is used in gemstone healing when a stone with a balancing effect is required. The mineral is used very often in stressful situations and phases of life to convey balance. The copper mineral supports to keep a cool head.
The name "Chrysocolla" is derived from the Greek words chrysos (gold) and kolla (glue). The translation "gold glue" refers to the ancient use of the mineral in goldsmithing and granulating. The occasional spellings Chrisokolla, Chroysokolla, Chrysochola, Crysokolla, Krysokole or Crysocolle are therefore not correct. Synonyms for chrysocolla are silica copper, silica malachite, copper pebble, copper green or mountain green.
