Hematite in a quite different way - not smooth and shiny, but with numerous vaults on the surface of the drilled cabochon. This special kind of hematite is called "Glaskopf" or "Kidney Ore" in mineralogy.
In his bestseller "Healing Crystals - the A-Z guide to 555 gemstones", Michael Gienger devoted a separate section to the kidney ore hematite and seperated this rarity from ordinary hematite. The usage in stone healing of the kidney ore hematite is the topics improvement, strengthening of the will and the attention of the basic needs.
The drilled cabochons made of glaskopf hematite are about 3 cm in size and about 10 mm thick; the size of the hole is 2.5 mm.
