The name 'Mookite' or 'Mookaite' is an unofficial, locally coined name for a silicified porcelanite, which id mined in Western Australia. Mookite has gained use in some modern jewellery because of its beautiful red, ochre and yellow colouring reminiscent of Australian outback at sunset.
